Sorry, but this position is full. We are leaving the form open for anyone who wants to leave their information on file for future openings.

WAHM Hosting is looking for new web designers to join our team!

Apply for the WAHM Hosting Design Team Now!

WAHM Hosting is a web host for small businesses and work at home moms. We build and host shopping cart websites, blogs, informational sites, traffic exchanges, directories, and more. While the rest of our team is focusing on server operations, script installations, website maintenance, seo services, etc, we need creative individuals to work on design elements for ourselves and our clients.

Misnomers Debunked:

  • You do not need to be a WAHM to work for WAHM Hosting! While we are picky about who joins our team, it has nothing to do with sex, race, etc. and everything to do with what you can do!
  • You can apply even if you have a competing web design site. While you won’t be able to promote it to our clients, we do have something in place for you to incorporate your existing site with us.
  • Education isn’t a factor here. Don’t get us wrong, education is great! But, it isn’t a requirement for this job. If you have a degree in design, definitely let us know, but we really care more about the quality of your work than where you learned how to do it.

Our Team Members Receive:

  • Admin level access to our Facebook & Twitter accounts.
  • Access to department support tickets.
  • A spot on our Meet The Team page as well as a profile page once you have done some work for us.
  • and more!

Pay:
You will be paid per completed job. As our customers pay upfront, you won’t need to worry about getting paid for your work. We take care of that for you. We set our own prices for design work and each designer must be willing to work within our prices. Your level of payment will depend mostly on your skill level and what else you bring to your designs. We will give each designer a more accurate payment structure during the interview process.

We must insist:

  • Designs created by you for our clients will give you credit, but will link to our website. For example: Designed by _____ at WAHM Hosting.
  • It goes without saying that all work must be your own. Using stock photography sites is fine as long as you follow their rules.
  • When potential clients come to you outside of WAHM Hosting, you do not have to go through us to sell them a design, but we must insist that you don’t refer them to another hosting company. You may, however, earn a percentage of the hosting fee for anyone you refer to WAHM Hosting.

What we are really looking for in a candidate:

  • Someone who is trustworthy.
  • Someone who is responsible and can effectively manage their time.
  • A team-player. We have accounts at Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, etc. Employees are not required to participate in any of these areas, but it would be nice to see our team interacting with our fans. This is a win-win situation for all team members since the more business you bring in, the more business you get.

What we mean by “Design Team”:
Our clients have a wide variety in taste and we try to match them up with designers who best suit their needs. We are looking to hire a few different individuals to meet these needs. When orders come in, clients are able to choose from a list of designers or we may provide one automatically for them based on availability. Needless to say, if a designer brings a customer to us, the designer automatically gets the design work for that client.
